Introduced in October at the 1953 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris, the Vendôme would undoubtedly have been the star of the Ford stand were it not for the manufacturer’s decision to fly in an eye catching futuristic prototype from Detroit called the X-100 which seems to have been the more effective show stealer.[1]
